  • nān-dɔ̀-kó̰o̰ [dèē]

    older brother of [one's] mother

    Exemple:

    nān-dɔ̀-kó̰o̰-ḿ là kɨ̀ kīnjá àdɨ̄-m̄ tàgɨ́.

    My mother's older brother sent me a chicken the other day.

  • nān-á (=nān-ḿ)

    oh friend, oh my friend

    Exemple:

    nān-á, ādɨ̄-m̄ wúl̄ tɨ́ lò-í sḭ́ḭ.

    Oh friend, please give me a few of your peanuts.

    My maternal uncle is my mother's brother.
